Driving License Category A1
Driving License Category A1 permits you to drive motorized two-wheeled vehicles. In particular, it permits you to drive mopeds or small motorcycles that have engines that have no more than 11 kW.

Prerequisites
You must be at minimum 16 years old in order to get a driving license category A1. This license allows the driver to drive an easy motorcycle, whereas A2 and A are reserved for larger motor vehicles. Training

You are only able to drive a motorbike in full category A1 when you hold a full A2 or A2 licence. In certain countries, you can get more access to higher categories of licence by first riding smaller-powered motorcycles. For instance, in Germany, after two years of experience in Category A1 - motorcycles with up to 11kW it is only necessary to pass a test in the form of a practical and not a test of theory in order to upgrade to category A2. Theory test
The Driving License Category A1 test is a two part test that includes both a theoretical and practical portion. Practical test
The test for the practical portion of the Driving License Category A1 exam is divided into two sections. After having passed the theory and practical tests, you can get an e-Driving License Category A1. This license allows you to drive a motorcycle with a maximum displacement of 125 cc, and an engine power/weight ratio of not more than 11 kW/kg. You can also drive tricycles with three wheels (trike) with this licence provided that it has an engine capacity of 125 cc or more and a power/weight ratio of not more than 15 kW per kilogram.
In addition to the driving test, you must also pass an exam for medical reasons before you can get your license. You must also provide proof of a first aid course and pass an eye test.
